🌿What is Hapé, and what should I expect?

Hapé is a sacred Amazonian tobacco plant medicine blended with medicinal herbs, traditionally used for centuries by indigenous tribes for cleansing, grounding, and spiritual alignment.

It is administered through the nose using a pipe called a kuripe or tepi.

Hapé can support:

Reiki & Sound Healing

Reiki is a gentle energy healing modality that promotes deep relaxation, emotional release, and inner harmony. Sound healing instruments will support this experience, guiding you into a meditative and restorative state.

To support your healing journey, please have a light breakfast before arriving. Avoid heavy meals to help your body integrate the experience more comfortably.

During the Hapé ceremony, some participants may experience a gentle purging process, which can include teary eyes, mild burning or tingling in the nose, increased saliva, and sometimes vomiting. These reactions are natural and part of the medicine’s cleansing effect.

*Water will be provided throughout the ceremony to keep you hydrated, and light snacks will be available afterward to help you gently ground and nourish your body.
