Hapé Ceremony

Hapé (pronounced ‘Ha-Peh’) is a sacred shamanic medicine that has been used by the healers and indigenous tribes of the Amazon rainforest for thousands of years. This tobacco based nasal snuff holds immense cultural, and spiritual significance and can enable profound healing and access to inner wisdom.

Hapé is believed to remove spiritual blocks, clear negative energies, stabilize emotions, ground the mind and promote spiritual growth. It helps to profoundly realign and open all your chakras, open your third eye, decalcify pineal gland and cleanse your aura from any heavy energies or energies that don’t serve you. Hapé is also one of the best meditation tools in existence.

A hapé ceremony is a sacred practice, rooted in Amazonian traditions, designed to cleanse the mind, body and spirit, align energies, and connect to us to the ancestral wisdom. The ritual involves setting a clear intention, administering hapé and allowing time to sit with the plant medicine and integrate the experience.

The preparation of hapé varies, ranging from a simple one ingredient preparation to elaborate mixture that includes a variety of dried plants, vines, seeds, flowers and wood ash. Since most hapé blends incorporate tobacco leaves these plant medicines inherently contain nicotine.

Some of the physical effects might include nasal stimulation, enhanced focus and clarity, energy boost, respiratory effects such as temporary airway opening and easier breathing, sensory awakening, appetite suppression, sweating and purging, emotional release and processing.
