Happy Togther // Drag Fantasy in Chinatown

happy together 春光再現, inspired by the iconic 1997 Hong Kong film 春光乍洩, is a drag fantasy blooming in Chinatown. Expect intimate flirtations, close whispers, cultural sensations, and a full house of Asian excellence ~ all at the city’s newest queer space: The Closet (271 Keefer St).

Hosted by your favourite (closeted) Chinese lesbian immigrant drag king, Yuen Young (yes, still in the closet…).

Not only you will have the best time, by coming to this event, you will also support Chinatown Together, a community-based organization resisting gentrification, building intergenerational connections, supporting seniors, and providing accessible, free public events in Chinatown, DTES and Strathcona.
