Every day, brave kids in South Carolina are fighting battles that no child should ever have to face. But together, we can make a difference. Join Camp Happy Days families and community as we walk in support of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. This celebration will kick off with a 5k walk around James Island County Park, followed by delicious food, live music, face-painting, crafts, raffles, a bouncy house, and more!
Our families are welcome to walk and celebrate with us free of charge!
Registration
You can register as an individual or create a team. Each individual will receive a Happy Steps T-Shirt. To create a team or join an existing team, click (https://www.camphappydays.org/happysteps/happystepsregistration) and enter your Team Name. Most creative TEAM NAME will win a special prize!
Price: $45 per person
Schedule of Event
9:00 AM - Registration Open/Make a Sign
9:45 AM - Pre-Run Stretch
10:00 AM - Walk Begins
10:45 AM - Games/Crafts/Bouncy House Open
11:30 AM - Food Served
12:00 PM - Guest Speaker
2:00 PM - Raffles Close
2:30 PM - Raffle Winners Announced (don't need to be present to win)
12:30 - 3:00 PM - Enjoy Activities
Details
Walk will begin and end at the Wando Shelter in James Island County Park.
Parking is available at the Wando Shelter and at the entrance of James Island County Park.
1-mile course available for anyone who is unable to complete the 5k walk.
Please bring sunscreen and bug spray, if needed.
