Now entering his 7th decade, Tom has been playing guitar since his mid-teens. This will be Tom’s first solo appearance at the North Star. Under the tutelage of local blues icon Shari Kane, Tom has become an accomplished acoustic finger-picking blues guitarist and is looking forward to sharing some of his favorite arrangements with you. While he certainly appreciates the acoustic blues tradition, Tom is also not afraid to add his own interpretations and take the songs in new directions with a combination of humor and wit mixed in with a bit of irreverence.
