Happy Hour Panel: My House: The Takeover of Femme DJ’s

Pull up to Sleepwalk for a night dedicated to the femme energy fueling NYC’s DJ culture. We’re kicking things off with an open bar happy hour from 6–7pm, followed by a panel featuring:

Black women have long been foundational to the creation and evolution of house music - but their contributions are too often erased or ignored. This panel flips the script, centering four Black femme DJs who are reclaiming their place at the forefront of the culture. Join us for an inspiring conversation, moderated by Muna Mohamed, with Lovie and Honeybun of Soul Connection, and Eden and Teigh of MATA NYC, as they share the transformative spaces they’ve built - and remind us all whose house it really is.
