Happy Hour at Taiwan Bento

Long time no see! I hope this email finds you. While many people stayed out of the Bay Area during the pandemic, Downtown Oakland had been quietly transformed with many new high-rises. Please join me downtown to celebrate the return to normal (well, sort of) for our first in-person reunion in 2 years and support local Taiwanese American restaurateurs. We will grab some food or drinks at Taiwan Bento, and meet at the patio outside.

Enjoy boba tea, Taiwan beer or some of the favorites from their menu - belly bao, popcorn chicken and FanTuan (Rice ball)! The rice balls are only available on Fridays and must be pre-ordered on Thursday night -

The restaurant is only 2 blocks from the 19th St BART station. Each guest is responsible for their own orders.
