Happy Hikers Club: Sensory Walk in the Gardens

Discover the wonders of the natural world on an easy guided stroll through the gardens. We'll use our different senses to explore and learn together. Plus, kids will have a blast creating their own compasses to guide their way through the park! A small snack will also be provided. Families and children of all ages and abilities are welcome on this fun and educational adventure!

This event is FREE but registration is REQUIRED.

Time: 5-6pm
Location and Driving Directions: Inniswood Metro Gardens 940 S Hempstead Rd. Westerville, OH 43081
Meet Up Point: Gardens Entrance Feature (tall wooden feature adjacent to parking lot)
Rain or Shine?: rain or shine, but may be canceled for severe weather
Recommended items to bring, things to wear, etc: may want to bring a water bottle and/or hat if hot out
Is this program wheelchair/stroller friendly?: Yes!
Does this program have ready access to running water? Yes
Is this program in the sun, shade, or other outdoor elements?: both sun and shade, will be moving most of the time, but can take breaks in a shaded area if needed
What is the length of the hike? approximately 1 mile, but can shorten or extend the hike
What type of path is the hike on? paths will be a mix of paved, brick, flagstone, and boardwalk, most trails are flat, a few small hills
