Embodied Anatomy: The upper limb, Shoulders w/ Chris LoebsackWe will explore the anatomy of the shoulder joint complex in a lecture setting then follow up with a yoga practice to put our knowledge into practice.
This course is open to everyone and counts as continuing education for Yoga Instructors. The session is available to all students who want to gain insight on their physical form.
This class will be a review of anatomy and kinesiology principles. We will look at some of the yoga anatomy myths and clear up the possible confusions.
Anatomy Lecture
Awareness of common injuries
learn and refine more effective verbal cues
Feel the actions in our own bodies
See common pitfalls and understand what is needed to find stability and functioning range of motion
