You're invited to Dear Community's monthly event H(API) Hour, where we support AAPI owned bars and engage in discourse.
About this Event

H(API) Hour was originally created by San Francisco's City Attorney David Chiu decades ago to bring together young Asian professionals living in the city. We are excited to revive this event series as a way to support the #StopAsianHate movement and bring attention to young Asian activists!

We are partnering with the Chinese American Democractic Club (CADC), the largest and oldest Asian democratic club in San Francisco, to host a H(API) Hour themed around the November election. Exercising our voice as a community in voting has been the most effective way to demonstrate to San Francisco that the Asian community and our concerns matter. We will discuss the importance of participating in elections as a resident and how to be a more informed voter. Everyone that brings their ballot to the event will get a free beer! Come out with your friends and neighbors to learn more about how to become more civically engaged as a community leader.
