HAPI Pet Therapy evaluates, trains and certifies humans with their pets to provide quality pet therapy teams to serve our community. HAPI Pet Therapy was founded in Kansas and we currently serve Sedgwick County and the surrounding areas.
Pet therapy is in high demand. HAPI Pet Therapy serves locations such as assisted living centers, schools, libraries, hospitals, hospice, universities and more. Pet therapy has been shown to reduce stress and anxiety levels and helps to lower the heart rate and blood pressure. Petting an animal raises endorphin levels which can lessen physical pain and feelings of depression. Pet therapy also increases oxytocin and serotonin which increase feelings of happiness and well-being.
