Celebrate the Festival of Lights in Westwood Village! Join us for four special nights of Hanukkah festivities featuring community menorah lightings, songs, blessings, and family-friendly activities. Each evening brings a unique experience with local synagogues and temples leading the celebrations.
Expect a warm community atmosphere, a beautiful menorah lighting, and moments that highlight the joy and tradition of Hanukkah. Everyone is invited to join and celebrate.
Sunday, December 14 @ 4:30pm to 6:30pm: Chabad Wilshire Corridor
Kick off the festivities with Chanukah Live in collaboration with Westwood Village and Chabad Wilshire Corridor. Enjoy a stunning ice menorah carving, live Klezmer music, donuts & latkes, a gelt drop, LED robots, airbrush crafts, and fun for the whole family!
Wednesday, December 17 @ 5:00pm to 6:00pm: Sephardic Temple
Sephardic Temple invites the community to a joyful and uplifting Chanukah candle lighting. Cantor Mizrahi will lead songs and blessings as everyone kindles the lights together. Families are welcome to celebrate with delicious treats, a festive atmosphere, and fun activities for kids. The Temple looks forward to sharing the warmth and light of Chanukah with all who attend.
Thursday, December 18 @ 4:30pm to 5:30pm: Sinai Temple
Join Sinai Temple for their annual Hanukkiah Lighting. Celebrate with songs and a beautiful menorah lighting ceremony led by Co-Senior Rabbis Nicole Guzik and Erez Sherman.
Friday, December 19 @ 5:30pm to 7:30pm: Upside Down Café
Come join the Upside Down community as we celebrate the holiday of Hanukkah together! We'll go to light the Westwood menorah and return to Upside Down for food, games, and music.
