Join us in person for "Hanover Against Hunger: Looking Ahead!" It's a great chance to connect, share ideas, and plan future steps to fight hunger in our community. Don’t miss this opportunity to be part of something meaningful and make a real impact. We look forward to seeing you there and working together for a hunger-free Hanover!
We will address:
1) Hosting local meal packing events,
2) HAH board and committee structure,
3) Our working relationship with local food relief organizations (such as God’s Meal Barrel, Ruth’s Harvest, New Hope Ministries, etc.),
4) Ways to better address hunger issues in Hanover,
5) General open discussion and more.
We are a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to alleviating hunger through education and direct action. Founded in 2012, this community-driven group operates out of Hanover and is composed of local churches, service clubs, businesses, and concerned citizens who work together to make a tangible difference in hunger relief initiatives. The organization is primarily known for hosting biannual community meal-packing events, where volunteers gather to assemble thousands of nutritious, shelf-stable meals intended for food-insecure populations both locally and globally.
By fostering collaboration and providing opportunities for meaningful volunteerism, Hanover Against Hunger continues to play a vital role in combating food insecurity, exemplifying how grassroots action can yield significant results in the fight against hunger.
