The Hannibal Hero’s Rally on February 4th was a tremendous success, with a fantastic turnout of supporters showing up to stand behind our local firefighters. The community came together to make it clear that we are united in our commitment to supporting the Hannibal Firefighters. However, this momentum must continue.
We need everyone to show up at the next City Council meeting on February 18th to maintain our presence and demonstrate our unwavering support. We cannot stop here; we need to keep the pressure on the City Council until a solution is presented to address the needs of our firefighters.
Let’s keep the energy high and our voices loud—together, we can make a difference!
Louderman told Meyer he would continue to work with the city's administrators and council members to see if there would be any place to free up funds. He said he hoped to have an answer by the council's Feb. 18 meeting if not before.
