This program of five dances includes the premiere of “Betwixt and Between”, an eerie dance for seven created in the blurred landscape between fear and hope; a place where we have been suspended for so many months. Kahn’s 2004 quartet “Delighted” is a joyful celebration of community. “Wending Our Way” (2020) explores the tentative and cautious interactions we all experienced early in the pandemic period. “Chicha” (1997) is a jaunty dance for six set to infectious music from the high land of Peru. And “Cross Purposes” (2013) is an emotional three-part journey for seven dancers.
