Hannah Gaskins Pablón "In the Midst, Secrets" Paintings
In 2019, Hannah earned a Bachelor’s degree in Studio Art from the University of North Carolina Wilmington. During her time there, she had the opportunity to explore various mediums, eventually discovering her deep passion for painting. Her studies extended beyond the classroom, allowing her to immerse herself in the world of master paintings during time spent abroad in Paris and New York City.
Hannah’s current work is deeply influenced by contemporary events and personal experiences. Whether painting a discovered flower or responding to a call for social awareness, she strives to create art that resonates on a meaningful level.
In the Midst, Secrets
From the Artist
"We live in such a fast paced world, rarely taking time to stop and notice what is beyond the surface. This body of work was created to help us pause. Every person we meet, every flower we see, everything contains secrets beyond the eye. Some secrets are that of struggle and hardship and others of beauty and peace. This body of paintings was created in the hopes that we may slow down and notice the secrets that lie in the midst."
