If memories define us, what happens when they’re rewritten?Nineteen-year-old Mirai Johnson just wanted to explore the world and finish college. But when she discovers she can physically travel into the past using her memories, her life is changed forever.
Drawn into a secret world of memory travelers, Mirai is recruited by Miles—a determined and quietly charming member of the Memory Protection League, a rogue group working to stop The Great Obscurer, a shadowy enemy who alters memories to erase identities.
Their mission? To stop the memory obscurers from rewriting the past—because when memories are changed, people lose who they truly are.
As Mirai and Miles grow closer, they find themselves caught between time, truth, and the fragile present. But there's one rule they can’t break: you can’t form new memories while memory traveling—which means their relationship has to survive in the real world, or not at all.
Full of time travel, high-stakes missions, slow-burn romance, and a battle for identity, Roses in December is perfect for fans of twisty YA fantasy and emotional adventure.
