CONTENT
- Handbalancing-specific warm-up including joint preparation and conditioning, focused on shoulder alignement and mobility (range + strength)
- Selection of foundational exercises, at the wall or free-standing, and adapted to each participant’s goals & level
- Techniques to move into positions in isolation and combination: straight, tuck, straddle, seven/pike, scorpion and hollow-back/mex
- Static holds and dynamic sequences with speed and control
REQUISITE
- To be able to kick-up to a back-to-wall handstand
- A comfortable 20 second chest-to-wall or back-to-wall handstand hold
- A semi-consistent 10-second free-standing handstand (not essential).
Not suitable for beginners. Do not hesitate to get in touch if you are unsure.
WHAT TO EXPECT
- Individualised coaching in a small group (10 max)
- Collective warm-up, conditionning, cool-down & occasional paired work when relevant
- A beautiful and cosy space with yoga mats available.
