Hands-on Workshop: Dressing Our Stories

This workshop offers a unique opportunity to engage with African Yoruba culture through the exploration of fabrics, building on the themes presented in our current exhibit. Participants will have a hands-on experience that connects storytelling and cultural expression through traditional and contemporary African textiles.

This is part of an ongoing exhibition Hairitage of Home by Samuel Kehinde Adebayo, on display in our gallery, Saturdays12-6pm through August 15th.

Kehinde is a visual storyteller based in Nigeria. He uses photography to convey concepts of Yoruba culture and his homeland's identity.
