About this Event
Join us for an evening of art-making inspired by the midcentury American artist and designer Wharton Esherick. Artist and University of Wisconsin-Madison faculty member, John Hitchcock, will lead participants in a hands-on opportunity to create your own woodblock print on paper and tote bag provided by the Chazen. Interested in also printing on a favorite t-shirt or hoodie? Bring it with you!
Participants are encouraged to bring an apron or clothes you don’t mind getting ink on as you will be working with materials that stain.
This event is free and open to the public. Space is limited – advanced registration is encouraged. Walk-ins are welcome as capacity allows.
We look forward to creating with you!
