Hands-On: Pasta Traditions of Tuscany (Restaurant Edition)

About this Class: It’s time to get your hands messy! In our hands-on format, you’ll be diving right in and making our dish with ingredients prepared by our Eataly kitchens. You will then get to enjoy the dish made in advance by our Scuola Chef, and you can take your culinary creation home with you!   For our Restaurant Edition of this class, your class will be in La Pizza & La Pasta.

 About this Dish:  With hundreds of different shapes that are connected to unique regions and sauces, Italian pasta is a world of its own. Join us as we take a culinary journey to Tuscany and explore the pasta traditions of different regions. In this class, you’ll shape pre-made dough into traditional pappardelle, and learn from our chefs how to make the perfect Tuscan Winter Salad.  

 In this Demonstration-Style Class You Will:  

• Learn about the traditions and culture of Pappardelle pasta  

• Observe as our Scuola Chef teaches the group how to make this unique dough and shape 

• Make your own portion of Pappardelle pasta to take home 

• Enjoy one of our classic Toscana pasta dishes and salads, prepared by the chefs in our restaurant

• One ticket purchase is valid for one guest
• Seating is first-come, first-served
• Class duration is approximate and may vary by 10-15 minutes
• Sorry, bambini - this is a 21+ only event. All guests planning to consume alcohol must be able to produce a valid government-issued identification to prove they are 21 or older.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Full payment is required at the time of booking, and all sales are final. We do not offer refunds for classes or events.

If you're booking for a group of 5–10 guests, you must give us at least 7 days’ notice (not including the day of the class) to receive a credit in the form of a coupon for a future La Scuola class or event.

For groups of 1–4 guests, a minimum of 4 days’ notice is required (again, not including the class day) to receive a credit for a future class or event.

We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel any class due to unforeseen circumstances, including weather. If that happens, we will contact you using the email or phone number you provided and offer either a full refund or a credit for a future class.

Please note that we cannot offer credits, transfers, or refunds for last-minute illnesses, work conflicts, personal emergencies, or other situations beyond your control. However, you are welcome to send someone in your place if you can no longer attend.

If you're purchasing this class or event as a gift, please make sure the recipient is aware of this policy, as it still applies.

Credits issued for La Scuola events can only be used toward future La Scuola events and cannot be applied toward other Eataly events, store purchases, or Eataly gift cards.
