Join us for a specialized hands-on Artisan Bread Class dedicated to traditional loaves specifically utilizing fresh compressed yeast for rich reliable results. This workshop will focus on quick-leavening non-sourdough recipes allowing you to master fundamental techniques without the commitment of a starter.Classic Dough Formulation: Understanding the basics of lean doughs (flour, water, salt, yeast).
Mixing & Dough Development: Achieving ideal gluten structure through kneading and folding, focusing on short, efficient schedules.
Proofing and Fermentation: Learning to manage proofing times specifically for fresh yeast-leavened breads.
Artisan Shaping: Mastering fundamental shapes such as boules (rounds) and batards (ovals).
Scoring & Baking: Techniques for creating beautiful crusts and maximizing oven spring using steam.
All Participants take home 2 loaves of bread to cook at home or can bake here time permitting
