Explore the ideas & concepts of Belly Dance.
We will be focusing mostly on the Hands, Arms & Postures of the belly dancer and why it is we move the hands and arms in certain ways. Feel the movements as your body moves from one posture or pose to the next.
Most of us don't like our hands and arms and the majority of the time we never think of what our posture (our bones) are doing.
I will help explain and give exercises that will allow you to focus on the body part and feel your way through the movements... How everything can work together and be controlled by you as the dancer. You are welcome to move at your own pace as we create combinations of moves for you to happily work through and see how to love those hands, arms and postures :)
Bring yourself a water to drink and wear clothing that doesn't restrict your body's movements like yoga pants, shorts, tank top, sports bra, loose skirts, tshirts....
Come in the red door on the side.
You may pay at the door before class starts.
