About this Event

Join us for "Handmade with Pride," a special workshop celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Lothian Gay and Lesbian Switchboard during Pride Month. This event invites participants of all ages to come together and express their creativity by making handmade cards and zines that reflect the diversity and pride of the LGBTQ+ community. You'll engage with archival material, learn basic zine making techniques, and connect with others in a supportive and festive environment. All materials will be provided!


This event is organised by Lothian Health Services Archive who hold the archive collection of the Lothian Gay and Lesbian Switchboard.


Please make your way to the 6th floor of the Main Library, University of Edinburgh. There is security on the ground floor of this building, however they will be aware of the event and will grant you access on arrival.
