In this workshop we will prepare and bind a hand-sewn book using the Coptic binding method. The Coptic binding dates back to the 4th c. and is known for its intricate chain-like stitches along an exposed spine. This beautiful binding is ideal for sketchbooks and journals because the book lies completely flat when open. You will have a selection of colorful handmade and decorative papers to create your one-of-a-kind book. All materials and tools provided. Pre-registration is required.
