Join us for this collaboration with Plant Curators! On the first night (07/17) Ian and Terumi will teach participants about different houseplants and their needs to thrive. We will discuss the importance of choosing the right pots, and key components of ideal pots that make your plants happier and healthier. Proper potting soil will also be discussed. On the second night (07/24) join Kelly in the pottery studio where we will put all that we learned about what kind of pots our plants love to good use. Participants will get to design and create a planter from wet clay. Clay bodies will be discussed and whether or not you should glaze or not glaze your pot. All materials and firings are included in the class. Pots will be ready for pick-up about 2 weeks after the 2nd class.
