Handmade Gift Swap + Tote Bag Decorating
About this Event
Come spend an evening making, swapping, and celebrating the things we create with our own two hands!
For this extra-special Glowfish gathering, each person will bring nine small handmade gifts to share with the group. At the end of the evening, you’ll leave with nine creations made by nine other people—along with a tote bag you decorated yourself to carry them all home in.
Your gifts can be anything you enjoy making: mini prints, small ceramics, sewn or crocheted pieces, jewelry, candles, handmade cards, tiny paintings—or homemade treats like bread, baked goods, infused butters, jams, syrups, spice blends, or something wonderfully unexpected. They can all be the same or each be different, and they don’t need to be elaborate or perfect. Small, thoughtful, and made by you is the whole idea!
If you’re bringing something edible, please package it individually and include a list of ingredients and any common allergens so everyone can swap safely.
During the event, we’ll also decorate canvas tote bags using an assortment of playful materials provided by Glowfish. There will be plenty of time to create, admire everyone’s handiwork, meet some new people, and enjoy the very satisfying experience of filling your newly adorned bag with handmade treasures.

- All tote-decorating materials (buttons, beads, stamps, etc.)
- Nine handmade gifts from other participants
- A cozy evening of creating and connecting
What you'll need to bring:
- Nine finished handmade items ready to swap.
A note about cancellations: Because the swap depends on everyone contributing their handmade or homemade items, tickets are nonrefundable. Please register only if you feel confident you’ll be able to attend so we can make sure there are plenty of treasures for everyone to choose from <3
