A K9 service dog is a vital working partner-and like any effective tool, continued training and refinement are essential to long-term success.Handler Helper is a dedicated K9 meetup created exclusively for K9s For Camo veteran recipients, held on the 1st and 3rd Mondays of each month. This ongoing series is open to all K9s For Camo veterans-past and present-dating back to the start of our mission in 2015.
What to Expect:
• Skill Refreshers & Continued Development for Service Dogs
• Strengthened Working Bonds Between Veterans & their K9
• Review of Real-World Public Access Scenarios
• Community Connection & Peer Support Within K9s For Camo
Handler Helper offers a consistent, safe, and supportive environment for veterans to fine-tune obedience, public access skills, and task work-while building meaningful relationships with others who understand the journey.
Veterans are asked to arrive with their service dogs vested, ready to work, and prepared to grow as part of their K9s For Camo pack.
