About this Event

Handel's Messiah: The St. Francis Schola and Chamber Orchetra of Louisville

Join us at St. Francis in the Fields for our annual performance of Handel’s Messiah, one of the most beloved choral works ever written and a cherished part of the Advent and Christmas season.

The St. Francis Schola and the Chamber Orchestra of Louisville come together to perform Handel’s masterpiece in the beautiful setting of our church. Whether you know every note of the “Hallelujah” chorus or are hearing Messiah live for the first time, this evening is a chance to slow down and take in the music of the season.

After the performance, stay for a festive reception in the Narthex and celebrate with friends, family, and neighbors.
