The magnificence of Handel’s Messiah sung by the Christchurch City Choir with world class soloists and the lush accompaniment of the Christchurch Symphony Orchestra is a traditional festive treat. Come and enjoy the richness of the world’s most famous oratorio and celebrate Christmas with the Christchurch City Choir in the beautiful Christchurch Town Hall.
Conductor John Linker and the Choir are thrilled to work with soloists soprano Sarah-Jane Rennie, mezzo soprano Margot Button, tenor Patrick Power ONZM and bass Samuel McKeever, and be accompanied by Grant Bartley on Harpsichord, Nicholas Sutcliffe on Organ, and the CSO.
