About this Event
Handcrafted: An Embodied Pottery Workshop
Join us for an evening that goes beyond the ordinary crafting workshop—an immersive experience where hand-building pottery and personal growth come together in perfect harmony. In this unique workshop, we blend creative expression with feminine embodiment practices, using the tactile nature of pottery-making to help anchor you into your body and connect with the life you want to create.
Who is This Workshop For?
This workshop is for women seeking a deeper experience—those who desire more than just a crafting session. Whether you're on a personal development journey or simply looking for a new way to express yourself, this workshop offers the perfect balance between creating with your hands and connecting with your heart. No pottery experience is necessary, just an open mind and a desire to slow down and be present.
What to Expect
A Grounding Experience: We will begin with light bites and the option to enjoy heart-opening cacao infused with rose, encouraging you to drop into your body and feel grounded. From there, the evening will unfold at a gentle, slow pace, allowing plenty of time for reflection and connection.
Pottery as a Path to Presence: Danielle will lead you as you shape your pottery piece. You’ll be encouraged to notice every sensation—the feel of the clay, the movements of your hands, and the emotions that arise. This mindful, embodied approach will help you stay present and remove external distractions, creating a truly meditative crafting experience.
Feminine Embodiment Practices: During the workshop, Amanda will guide you through somatic practices to help you drop out of your head and into your body. These practices, which have transformed her own life over the past three years, will open space for greater peace, clarity, and confidence as you create.
Meaningful Reflection: We’ll open with a teaching that invites reflection, which you can carry with you as you mold your clay. As the evening draws to a close, we’ll come together to share our experiences and insights, deepening the connection between body, mind, and creativity.
Location
The workshop will be held outdoors in the beautiful Elysian Heights Elementary Arts Magnet School Garden. Surrounded by nature, you’ll craft at picnic tables under twinkling market lights, with a charming chicken coop nearby. This intimate garden space offers the perfect peaceful backdrop for a grounded, creative evening.
