The HANDS UP! Halloween Sensory Session – A Calmer Party Experience 🎃

Our Sensory Session is a specially adapted event designed for families who may benefit from a more relaxed environment.

This one-hour session offers:
– Lower music volume
– Soft lighting (no strobes)
– A smaller crowd
– A gentler atmosphere, including a low-key visit from Hans the Raver Chimp
– Plus a special appearance from Rumi of K-Pop Demon Hunters, who will join us towards the end to sing, dance, and party with the children!

We’re also adding a Best Dressed Competition — so get creative with your outfits for a chance to win!

This is ideal for children with sensory sensitivities, additional needs, or those who simply prefer a quieter introduction to a party-style experience.

🎟️ Tickets are £7 per person, with free entry for carers (max 1 per order).

Spaces are limited to keep the session comfortable and calm — early booking is recommended.

Important Information – HANDS UP! Sensory Session

– Tickets are non-refundable but can be transferred or resold. If you find you cannot attend, please email [email protected] and we’ll do our best to help rehome your tickets.

– While some dancing is encouraged, this session is slower-paced with more relaxed movement and a calmer atmosphere. Limited seating will be available throughout. If anyone in your group requires a seat or additional support, please contact us in advance.

– A maximum of 3 children (aged 2–12) per adult applies. For larger groups, please aim for at least one adult per two children. Groups with more than 4 adults per child should email us for pre-approval before booking.

– This session is designed for families with children aged 2–12, particularly those who may benefit from a gentler experience. Adults must be accompanied by a child to attend, and children must be accompanied by an adult.

– Carers can attend for free, but must be booked in advance to help us manage venue capacity. We offer a maximum of one free carer ticket per order, and we kindly ask for proof of carer status — this can be a carer ID, a DLA/PIP letter, or written confirmation from a school, GP, or support professional. Please bring this with you on the day, or email us beforehand if you’re unsure what qualifies.

– Bag searches may be carried out at entry to ensure safety for all attendees.

– Optional photography and filming may take place for promotional purposes. If you or anyone in your group would prefer not to be included in any photos or videos, please let us know at entry, and we’ll be happy to accommodate.

– Check the Facebook event page or contact us for parking information at the venue.

– A baby change area and buggy storage will be available, though we recommend bringing your own supplies for little ones, as no baby-specific food will be provided. Drinks and snacks may be available on-site, depending on venue facilities.

– Music will be played at a lower volume, with no strobe lighting or overwhelming effects. If your child is particularly sound-sensitive, feel free to bring ear defenders or any comfort items that may help them feel more at ease.

– Please note: This is not a traditional playgroup or children’s party. The HANDS UP! Sensory Session is a calm, party-inspired environment tailored to be inclusive, respectful, and sensory-aware — offering a shared musical experience for families who need a gentler pace.
