This class emphasizes awareness, avoidance, de-escalation, and simple, repeatable defenses you can use under stress — taught in a controlled, supportive environment.

• Situational awareness & threat avoidance: learn how to spot, prevent, and reduce risks before they escalate.
• Verbal de-escalation: techniques to defuse confrontations and create opportunities to retreat safely.
• Fundamental movement & balance: posture, footwork, and positioning to improve stability and escape options.
• Practical escapes & breakaways: simple, repeatable drills for freeing yourself from grabs, holds, and common close-contact scenarios (partner drills using progressive intensity).
• Clinics on controlling distance & using everyday objects for safety: legal, non-escalatory options to increase separation.
• Stress inoculation & decision-making: training to help you act clearly under pressure and understand the legal implications of self-defense.
• Next steps: guidance on continued training, private coaching, and resources for physical and legal preparedness.
