Hand to God AUDITIONS at Theatre Downtown

Theatre Downtown will holding open auditions for Hand to God by Robert Askins, directed by AG Crist, on November 7th at Noon.
Auditions will consist of reading sides from the play. Sides will be made available before the audition.
Texas/passably Southern US accent is encouraged, but not required.
Rehearsals will be 3 nights weekly from 6-9pm beginning on January 11, specific dates TBD.
Show Runs March 5th-21st.
Cast Breakdown:
JASON - Male, age 17: to be played by actor 18-30's - mild-mannered, anxious teenager coping with crippling grief. A talented puppeteer. This actor will also play the role of TYRONE - an evil, crass puppet.
MARGERY - Female, 30's-60's: Jason's mother, struggling to cope with the grief of the recent loss of her husband. Leader of the church's puppet ministry
JESSICA - Female, Aged 17, actor must be 18-30's: Intelligent, sweet, another member of the puppet ministry.
TIMOTHY - Male, aged 17, actor must be 18-30's: Troubled, filterless, and a bit of a bully. Begrudgingly part of the puppet ministry.
PASTOR GREG - Male, 30's -60's: Single, lonely, Presbyterian. Friendly, but tends to overreach.
