Give your clothes a second life! ♻️During this 2-hour workshop, you’ll learn how to repair your garments and textile accessories instead of throwing them away. Each participant can bring clothes or fabric items that need repair.
Before the workshop, you’ll share what you would like to repair so I can prepare the right tools and techniques.
We’ll explore different ways to fix textiles, either by hand sewing or using a sewing machine, depending on the project. If you don’t have anything to repair, I will demonstrate useful techniques that you can practice during the session.
This workshop is designed to help you become more confident with simple repairs and to encourage a more sustainable relationship with clothing.
Examples of repairs:
• replacing an elastic waistband
• sewing on a button
• closing a hole
• replacing a zipper
• hemming, covering a stain
• taking in or letting out a garment...

• Host: Justine Peters, a Belgian creator behind a small upcycling brand (CreaSew) where she transform second-hand fabrics into clothes and accessories through sewing.
She love to explore texture, color, and the story behind each fabric. She started sewing 10 years ago, and today she´s ready to share not only her technical skills, but also the joy of creating, experimenting, and seeing materials differently.
Bring: the clothes or accessories you would like to repair, must be in fabric textile

Tijekom ove dvosatne radionice naučiti ćete kako popraviti svoju odjeću i tekstilne dodatke umjesto da ih bacate. Svaki sudionik može donijeti odjeću ili predmete od tkanine koje je potrebno popraviti.
Istražit ćete različite načine popravljanja tekstila, bilo ručnim šivanjem ili šivaćim strojem, ovisno o projektu.
Ova radionica osmišljena je kako bi vam pomogla da postanete samopouzdaniji u jednostavnim popravcima i potaknula održiviji odnos s odjećom.

• prišivanje gumba

• porubljivanje
• prekrivanje mrlje zakrpama…

Voli istraživati teksturu, boju i priču iza svake tkanine. Šivanjem se bavi već 10 godina, a danas je spremna s vama podijeliti ne samo svoje tehničke vještine, već i radost stvaranja, eksperimentiranja i drugačijeg gledanja na materijale.
