Hand Sewing & Embroidery

*This event is open to NYU Students, Staff, and Faculty only.*

Join TAs for an in-person workshop where you’ll learn the basics of hand-sewing and embroidery! We’ll cover basic stitches, borders, and patterns that you can incorporate into your own wardrobe or pattern pieces if you’re constructing a garment.

Attendees will design multi-perspective and creative products using basic sewing construction and portray their creations in a professionally appealing way. This workshop is great for anyone who is interested in fashion design, wearables, or just wants to learn some basic design principles! Materials will be provided!

*This workshop is open to all current NYU student, staff, and faculty and will take place in-person at the NYU MakerSpace located in the Tandon School of Engineering on the Downtown Brooklyn campus.*
