Hand-Building Houses with Jan Richardson
October 17 & 18, 2026 from 10 AM–4 PM each day
Ages 18 to adult

Spend two creative days with ceramic artist Jan Richardson building a one-of-a-kind clay house inspired by her widely collected Windy Meadows Pottery designs.

Using newly created templates, participants will construct a hand-built clay house, with plenty of room to modify the design and add personal touches. Color will be added with underglazes and colored clay, while original Windy Meadows Pottery texture molds will be available to create detailed, aged surfaces.

Basic tools and materials will be provided. Completed houses will be fired after the workshop, and Jan will share instructions for adding optional cold finishes once the pieces have been fired.

A lunch break will be included each day.
