Hand block printing cards & patterns

Explore the endless possibilities of repeating pattern and one off placements with hand blocked stamps.

We'll start by looking at some examples of how to create different visual effects with repeat pattern using some simple techniques. Then its your turn to put this into practise by experimenting and having fun using my vast collection of motifs, hand carved into lino stamps. You will then have time to hand print your own set of stationery or original pieces of art ready to frame.

No drawing or previous printing experience is needed, this workshop is suitable for all ages (14+).

You will leave with all your practice pieces and your set of unique hand printed cards, tags or wrap.

There is only a small number of places available as I like to ensure that there is ample space and that I can get around the group to give my attention and advise when needed.

All materials are provided including tea, coffee and homemade cake.

During this 2 hour class, you won't be carving your own lino block. If you would like to learn how to carve your own design, please book onto my 'Lino printing for beginners' workshop.
