Join us for a weekend of competitive VERIFIED match play!
This tournament is open to players of all levels and guarantees each participant a minimum of two matches.
*Additional match opportunities may be available.
** Players will not be scheduled for more than two matches per day.
The tournament will be held at the newly renovated tennis facility at Lake Taylor School in Norfolk, Virginia. Please bring plenty of water and be prepared for hot summer weather conditions.

Tournament Rules
• No coaching is permitted during matches.
• Spectators must remain outside the court fences at all times.
• To ensure score accuracy, both players are required to return the balls and report the result to the tournament desk at the completion of the match.
LEVEL-BASED SINGLES (COED)
Participants will be grouped according to their UTR rating to ensure competitive and enjoyable matches. The Tournament Organizer reserves the right to move players to the most appropriate division if they register for an unsuitable draw. Player reliability will be considered when creating the draws.
Each division will have a maximum draw size of 8 players, with the possibility of expansion if court availability permits. Players placed on the waitlist will receive a full refund if they are unable to be accommodated once final draw sizes are determined.
SPECIAL OPPORTUNITIES
• The winner of the 7.0–8.0 UTR division will receive a wild card entry into a future local prize money event.
• Winners of the lower divisions will earn a spot in the next higher division at the following Summer Series event, regardless of their current UTR rating.
SCORING FORMAT
All divisions will play best-of-three sets.
• If the match is split at one set all, a 10-point match tiebreak will be played in lieu of a third set.
• No-ad scoring will be used throughout the tournament.
• An additional 10-minute break will be provided after the second set if a match tiebreak is required.
WARM-UP & MATCH START TIMES
• Players will receive a 5-minute warm-up before each match.
• Any player not checked in at the tournament desk within 15 minutes of their scheduled match time will be defaulted without refund.
• A maximum of 90 minutes between matches will be provided whenever possible to accommodate weather conditions and player recovery.
REFUND POLICY
No refunds will be issued after the registration deadline.
INCLEMENT WEATHER
In the event of inclement weather, tournament organizers reserve the right to modify the schedule, reschedule matches, or cancel the event if necessary.
