-> Hampton Roads PrideFest, June 27, 12-7 pm, Norfolk Town Point Park, 113 Waterside Drive, Norfolk - SIGN UP by sending an email: [email protected] (COVA Coalition will also have a table/booth at this event.)
Get out there with a COVA Coalition Street Team to talk to voters at community events and show people that the resistance is alive and well! We'll share educational materials and discuss why it's important to vote "yes" on the 3 amendments to the Virginia Constitution that will be on the ballot this November; show people how to register to vote or check/update their voter registration on their phones; give out stickers; and encourage others to find their voice, take action, and protect democracy.
We will brief on the content and importance of the 3 amendments, train you on how to engage people, and provide you with the materials needed (flyers, QR Codes on a clipboard, etc.).
