About this Event

Hampden - birthplace of modern football

A free walk-and-talk event. Starting next to Hampden Bowling Club, the site of the first Hampden Park, before walking to and around Cathkin Park, site of the second Hampden Park. Finally, walking the length of Hampden Terrace and passing the third Hampden Park. to reach the CLOCKWORK Bar and Restaurant, 1153 Cathcart Road, G42 9HB. Eta approx 7pm.


Keith McAllister will give a talk and presentation on the history and evolution of Hampden Park and its close association with Queen's Park FC - followed by a Q&A session.
Keith's talk will be in the Clockwork's upstairs function room, with pay bar. If required, food can be ordered from the kitchen.
