Hammer & Tongue Poetry Slam

An evening of exhilarating spoken word, featuring performances from the biggest names on the poetry scene and our legendary poetry slam. Hosted by the hilarious Leanne Shorley in the glorious Tusk Club @ The Walrus.

Doors open at 7pm and the show starts at 8pm.

HOW TO SLAM: Get yourself a 'Performer Ticket' and prepare an original poem of 3 minutes or less (no music, no props). Any style, any theme, anything you want! It doesn't have to be memorised and you're more than welcome to read from paper/your phone.

Please be aware the performance space is in a basement which is only accessible via a flight of stairs. There is space to store wheelchairs / a mobility scooter on the ground floor. Assistance dogs are welcome.
