Ashtanga Yoga Guildford are delighted to announce Hamish Hendry's return visit to Guildford, Surrey

Hamish is one of only a few Certified Ashtanga teachers in the world, he will share with you some of his vast experience & knowledge.

The day will begin with a morning Mysore self practice with staggered start times. After a break for brunch, Hamish will cover practice techniques and some philosophy of yoga; there will be plenty of time at the end to answer students' questions. We know the workshop will be inspiring and enjoyable.

The workshop is suitable for those students self-practicing Primary Series up to Maricasana B (and all series beyond).

If you have a long practice, please let us know. Please note it may not be possible to get the time you want so book early as there will be limited numbers. Start times will be allocated and confirmed by email to you the week before the workshop.

If you are visiting Guildford. there is plenty to do between practice finishing & conference starting. Guildford is a beautiful town set on the River Wey & North Downs. The High Street is one the prettiest in the whole of the UK with cobbled streets. The town has a medieval castle with beautiful grounds, a river running though with a lock and three theatres! There are great restaurants and local entertainment, including buskers from the local academy of music. Guildford has a unique Cathedral set on top of a hill overlooking the town, and for those of you wanting to take a 20 min stroll, there is a great view on the 'Hogs Back Hill' looking back towards London, where, on a good day, you can see the Shard, Gherkin, Millenium Wheel, Wembley Arch & Heathrow Tower!

Approx 9.30am Self Practice

Approx 11.30 -12.30pm lunch (not included)

12.30 -2.30pm Conference & Questions (doors re open 12.15 for Chai)

After a break for brunch, Hamish will cover practice techniques and the philosophy of yoga with some time given at the end to answer students' questions.

We are asking for donations this year to ensure inclusivity for everyone wanting to join. We suggest anything between £65-£108. We recognise people have different financial resources so we have a flexible system for paying for this class that is built on trust, value and inclusivity.
