Come along to our Dental for All community event, on Monday 18th August, 2-3.30pm at The Pā (in Te Kōpūroa) at the University of Waikato. Afternoon tea provided! We'll hear from some panellists and kōrero together about our campaign free, universal and Te Tiriti o Waitangi-consistent oral healthcare in Aotearoa (https://www.dentalforall.nz/). Our speakers are:
- Nathalie Jaques: Strategic Researcher at the New Zealand Nurses Organisation
- Arama Rata: Writer and Activist
- Max Harris: Dental for All Campaigner at ActionStation
- Danielle Marks: Researcher and Activist
- Agnes Magele: Coordinator at Auckland Action Against Poverty
- A representative from Te Tiratū Iwi Māori Partnership Board
- Karen Turanga: Dental Hygienist, researcher, educator, and business owner
- Facilitated by Hana Pilkinton-Ching: Dental for All campaigner at ActionStation
We'll also have Dental for All merch, campaign info and activities available - there's lots to get involved with!
