Mr. Tim Cole serves as the Director for Small Business Programs at the Missile Defense Agency (MDA), where he advocates for small business participation across the agency’s acquisition efforts. With more than 15 years of MDA contracting experience—including leadership roles in Sensors and the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense—he brings deep expertise in acquisition regulations, contract types, and incentive strategies.

He also spent 19 years in the private sector in contracting, subcontracting, pricing, cost control, and small business roles, most recently serving as a Contracts/Subcontracts Manager and Small Business Liaison Officer before joining MDA in 2009.

Mr. Cole holds an MBA from Auburn University and a BS in Business Administration from the University of Alabama in Huntsville. He is DAWIA Level III certified in Contracting and is committed to ensuring small businesses are engaged early and effectively in MDA contracting opportunities.
