Alternative Comedy Theater is returning after last year's hiatus to bring back HAM IT UP! a popular week-long summer workshop for kids and teens. This workshop is for folks between the ages of 9 and 17 who want to learn more about improv comedy while having a great time. Participants will spend the week learning the basics of improv and improv games with John Rawley and other professional artists. The workshop will finale with a performance on Pocket's stage! It's a great way to meet new people, loosen up in front of a crowd, and be more creative!! (and keep the kids occupied during the summer!)Details:
Pocket Sandwich Theatre: Monday, July 12 through Friday, July 16, 10AM - 2PM, with a Showcase on Friday July 16 at 1 pm. Friends and families welcome! A lunch menu will be available.
LUNCH WILL BE PROVIDED FOR THE KIDS MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY. A MENU WILL BE GIVEN IN ADVANCE IN THE EVENT THAT YOUR CHILD WANTS TO BRING THEIR OWN LUNCH. SOFT DRINKS ALSO PROVIDED AT NO CHARGE.
The price for the workshop will be:
Early bird purchase up until June 15- $225. After that $250. Multiple child discount of $25. No cancellations or refunds after June 1.
