🎃 Celebrate Halloween with Horses at Hallowhinny 2026! 🐴
Spend Halloween Day at the Kentucky Horse Park on Saturday, October 31! Wear your costume, trick-or-treat throughout the park, and watch our horses perform in costume during the annual Hallowhinny shows. All activities are included with standard park admission!

9:30 AM | Cemetery Chat: Man O’ War
Visit the memorial of the "Mostest Hoss" to learn about his life, legacy, famous offspring, and legendary jockey.
10:00 AM | Horse-Drawn Trolley
Enjoy a 10-minute tour pulled by draft horses. (Visit the Big Barn anytime to meet the draft horses up close!)
10:30 AM | Hall of Champions Show
Experience the thrill of the racetrack as you meet our featured Hall of Champions residents.
11:00 AM | Hallowhinny Show I 🎃🐴
Watch horse breed representatives perform in hand and under saddle in full Halloween Costumes! Stay after the show for a meet-and-greet with the horses. (Different horses featured in Show I & Show II!)
11:45 AM | Draft Horse Meet & Greet
Meet the largest residents of the park and discover real horsepower in action!
12:30 PM | Facts & Fun at the Museum
Explore equine history with hands-on museum objects. Drop in for a minute or stay for an hour!
1:15 PM | Hall of Champions Show
Another chance to meet racehorse legends at the Hall of Champions.
2:00 PM | Hallowhinny Show II 🎃🐴
A second chance to catch costumed horses in action! Stick around post-show to get up close with a fresh lineup of horses.
2:45 PM | Horse-Drawn Trolley
Take an afternoon ride around the park on our draft-drawn trolley.
3:30 PM | Hall of Champions Nightcap
Gather near the paddock fence for the final presentation of the day, featuring 2016 Trotting Triple Crown champion Marion Marauder!
4:00 PM | Cemetery Chat: Memorial Walk of Champions
Discover stories of triumph, heartbreak, and even a famous goat as we honor past champions resting at the park.

Stop by anytime! Officers and their equine partners are excited to meet you whenever they aren't out on patrol.
