Something wicked is coming to the studio this Halloween! 🧙♀️✨ Join me for a special Halloween afternoon and hand-build your very own **Witch Hat Luminary** from clay!
We'll build and shape our witch hats by hand, then the real fun begins! You'll be able to give your hat its own personality with textures, embellishments, and decorative cutouts that will allow light to shine through once it's finished. To top it all off, **each witch hat will have a sparkling prism jewel hanging from the tip of the hat** for a little extra witchy magic!
Make yours whimsical, spooky, rustic, colorful, or wonderfully weird—no two witch hats need to be alike.
You'll also have the option to paint your witch hat with underglazes during class. After firing, I'll apply a clear glaze over your underglaze colors to give it a beautiful finished surface. If you'd rather choose from our studio glaze collection, I'll glaze it for you instead.
Because this is a larger, more detailed project, we've allowed **3 hours** for this special workshop.
Because clay must dry completely before firing, the finishing process takes several weeks. After your project has completely dried, it will go through a bisque firing. I'll take care of the remaining finishing and glazing before firing your luminary one final time. Projects will be ready for pick-up in approximately 4–6 weeks, or I can ship for an additional fee.
Please wear comfortable clothing, closed-toe shoes, and have your hair pulled back. Rings, bracelets, and other loose jewelry are best left at home.
**Please Note:**
• Arrive no more than 5 minutes before class begins.
• Please follow all studio rules and procedures.
• Children are welcome to participate, but a parent or guardian must remain in the studio for the duration of the class. No drop-offs are permitted.
• Each person making a project must have their own paid registration.
• Due to limited seating, class registrations are non-refundable.
