Halloween royal icing consistency class at Plymouth G Pub/High Limb Cider

This class will focus on making royal icing together and practicing adjusting the consistency under the supervision of Sarah from South Street Cookie Co! We will then use our freshly made icing to decorate 3 Halloween themed cookies. Each attendee will receive a drink voucher and a printed copy of my royal icing recipe!

Do you want to learn the basics of decorating sugar cookies? If so, then this class is perfect for you!! You will practice basic piping and flooding techniques and will walk away with these 3 beautifully decorated cookies.

You don't need any experience working with sugar cookies in the past! All supplies will be provided. This is a beginner level class and the following topics will be covered:

Royal icing preparation

Royal icing consistency practice

Watch as Sarah makes and colors royal icing.

Piping and flooding

Wet on wet flooding

3d icing design

I will explain icing consistency for the class as we work with the different consistencies but all icing will be pre-bagged.

This class will take place at the She Shed in Abington, MA. The She Shed is BYOB and you are also welcome to bring snacks! Feel free to enjoy drinks and food while we decorate!

All attendees MUST be ticketed. If you arrive without a ticket you will be unable to participate.

Cookies may contain the following allergens: nuts, milk, wheat, soy, gluten. I am unable to make gluten free or nut free cookie options at this time.

ALL TICKET SALES ARE FINAL. In the event you cannot attend class, all tickets are transferable to another student but tickets are non-refundable, and they cannot be transferred to a future class. This is due to the nature of the materials used in class, as all cookie class materials are hand made well in advance of class. I am always happy to allow students to take home a cookie kit if they are unable to make it to class, and can send you numbered instructions for how to decorate them. You can also give your class ticket to a friend or even sell them to someone else, but I am unfortunately unable to offer a refund on the class due to the nature of the materials. Thank you so much for your understanding on this matter, and be sure to double check your calendar before booking your ticket :)

If you cannot find someone to take your place, you can contact me with a minimum of 72 hours notice as I sometimes have a waiting list. However, this does not guarantee that I can find a replacement for you. If you transfer your ticket to a friend, please reach out to [email protected] or shoot me a message on social media so I can update the roster.

In the event this class is canceled due to illness or extreme weather, the class will be rescheduled. If you are unable to make it to the rescheduled date, you will be offered a refund.
