Our Halloween party is here!Alright yeah we're doing it the weekend after 'the weekend' you're meant to do it, but that just means MORE halloween, so we're into it.
We've invited an absolutely class party time DJ that goes by MELIZARDS all the way from Berlin. She's on a micro tour organised by our mate and club favourite Zara a.k.a W.H.Y. and they'll be coming up on support for this too.
Spend some time listening to Melizards' mixes, they're such a perfect example of handling a deejay set with the right balance of music expertise, grimace and FUN, imagine that... fun!
Tickets are cheap because it's important to keep stuff cheap, they're half price too if you put some effort into your kit and come in fancy dress...
BIO:
Melizards dove headlong into the underbelly of the internet’s music archives since sharing mixes on MySpace in 2008. Both erratic and distinct, she playfully weaves through 70s - early 2000s synth punk, experimental cassettes, cosmic disco, janky house, electro, new beat, garage rock, B-side psychedelia, Et al. She started her nonsense in NYC and moved on to reside in the gutters of Berlin, where she most often plays this lofi hodgepodge at Sameheads, O Tannenbaum and (the now defunct) Loophole.
